Iker Belauste Returns to JLL as Executive Vice President

Real estate firms in South Florida strengthened their lead in recent hiring news.

According to the press release, Iker Belauste has returned to JLL as a vice president in the Miami office. Belauste started as a partner at JLL in 2019 and moved to CBRE, where he worked as a senior partner, in 2023. In his new role at JLL, he will focus on office tenant representation in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, according to the release.

In Coral Gables, Bass Law has brought on former Judge Jennifer D. Bailey, a news release shows. Bailey retired last year after sitting on the bench for 31 years. She spent most of her career in the Civil Division of Florida’s Eleventh Judicial Circuit, focusing primarily on complex commercial litigation. She will continue to work on complex commercial litigation, as well as specialty litigation and dispute resolution, according to the release.

Multifamily housing developer Bozzuto has promoted Keri Walker Pfeifer to executive director of operations, according to a social media post. Walker Pfeifer joined the Greenbelt, Maryland-based firm in 2009. She was promoted to senior vice president in 2017 and oversaw the firm’s expansion into South Florida. In her new role, Walker Pfeifer will oversee all of the Northeast and Southeast markets, the post said.
