Google’s latest streaming device has reached some end users ahead of its international launch. Quite a few social media users have unboxed the powerful new Google TV streaming device and verified the contents of the retail box.

Google TV Streamer is now in stores worldwide

Google announced its latest Android TV set-top box Google TV Streaminglast month. The powerful streaming device replaces older Google Chromecast products.

Pill shaped Google TV Streamer is similar to an Android TV boxunlike Chromecast products, which are dongles. The new form factor has a more powerful processor and offers Google AI integration, smart home functions, and the latest Google TV experience.

Google was set to release its Android 14 set-top box internationally on September 24. However, many early adopters managed to purchase the Google TV Streamer early, unbox it, and post their photos online.

Multiple Reddit posts indicate: Google TV Streamer arrives in stores in the UK, Germany, and CanadaNeedless to say, it’s a well-established practice to ship products early. This ensures that they’re available to customers on launch day.

Google ships Android 14 set-top box without HDMI cable

As the images reveal, Google has opted for a simple yet smart packaging for the Google TV Streamer. The search giant has bundled a power adapter, a voice remote, and a long USB-C to USB-A cable (1.8M) along with the streaming device. According to a user, the streaming device approximately 26 GB of free storage space From the claimed capacity of 32GB.
