Telugu thriller Dakshina starring Sai Dhanshika to release on this date

Sai Dhanshika-starrer psychological thriller Dakshina is finally set to release. The Osho Tulasiram director, who has previously given horror films like Mantra and Mangala, is all set to hit the big screens on October 4. The film is being produced by Ashok Shinde under his banner Cult Concepts and distributed by the renowned Mythri Movie Makers. The makers recently released a new poster of Dakshina on X and announced its official release date. “#Dakshina is all set to hit big theatres on October 4, 2024.” Along with Sai Dhanshika, the film also stars an ensemble cast including Rishabh Basu, Sneha Singh, Karuna, Arna Muller, Hima Shailja, Meghna Chaudhary and Naveen.

The official trailer of the film was released in early May this year at a grand ceremony where director Buchi Babu Sana was invited as the guest of honour.

The 1 minute 49 second trailer starts with a woman covered in blood, tied up and trying to break free from her bonds. As the trailer progresses, we are shown images of several female bodies with no heads and question marks in their places, which seems like the work of a ruthless serial killer. The task of catching the perpetrator falls to Sai Dhanshika’s character, who plays a tough police officer. Will she be able to solve the mystery? You’ll get your answers on October 4.

Earlier, at the trailer launch event, Buchi Babu Sana had showered praises on the film, claiming that the film has the potential to create a trend in the psycho-thriller genre and also praised the film’s director Osho Tulasiram. He also noted how scary the trailer is and called it one of the scariest clips in new cinema.

The trailer has created a lot of excitement and anticipation among fans and moviegoers.

The technical cinematography of the film is handled by RK, editing by Vinay and music by DSR.

The promotions of the film have already started in full swing. Sai Dhanshika recently released a series of stunning images of her outfit for the promotional event of the film.
