Rhea Ripley Reveals Her Choice of WWE Superstars for Survivor Series: WarGames Team

Rhea Ripley has the distinction of taking part in the first women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series in 2019. She has since participated in two WarGames matches in 2020 and 2022. Now, Eradicator has revealed the female superstars she wants to work with in the upcoming WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024.

In a recent chat with The Classic on Casual Conversations, Ripley revealed which team she would pick if she were the WarGames team captain this year.

“It would be me; I would probably say Bianca (Belair), Jade (Cargill), they would take the team, the tag team champions. Who else would I pick? I think I would—it’s hard because they don’t get along. I would say IYO (Sky) and Kairi (Sane) because IYO has been in a few matches and… I mean she’s been in a lot of matches and won a lot of WarGames and Kairi just… she never gives up. She just slammed her face into the announce table and kept going,” Ripley was quoted as saying by Wrestling Inc.

Rhea Ripley has never teamed with Bianca Belair in a WarGames match, although they were rivals in 2019 and 2022. Sky and Ripley have been rivals and tag team partners in a double cage structure, with Rhea Ripley’s team defeating Sky’s team in 2019, then teaming with her in 2020 and 2022, both losing.

As for Ripley, the former WWE Women’s World Champion is currently in a bitter feud with Liv Morgan. Ripley, along with Damian Priest, defeated Morgan and Dominik Mysterio at WWE Bash in Berlin PLE on August 31, 2024.

But Ripley still has one more mission to accomplish. She must reclaim the WWE Women’s World Championship from Morgan. Ripley defended her title against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40. The next day, Morgan attacked Ripley and caused a serious shoulder injury that sent Rhea into recovery for over two months.

Meanwhile, Morgan won the WWE Women’s World Championship from Lynch at the King and Queen of the Ring tournament on May 25. Since then, Morgan has retained the WWE title and even defended it against Ripley at SummerSlam 2024. Now, these two are expected to face off at Bad Blood on October 5, 2024.
